[stative verb] 一點
觸 · Trigger
You want the same quality, set one notch higher.
序 · The move
1 Take the stative verb that names the quality (小心, 大, 快). Is it a quality you can have more or less of?
2 Put 一點 right after it to push it up a small amount. 一點 sits after the quality, never before it.
3 Read it back as the quality dialed up, not down. 小心一點 asks for more care, not less.

When moving house, be a bit more careful.
界 · Boundary
有(一)點 + Vs 有一點 sits before the quality and reports a mild, unwanted amount already there (有一點貴, a bit too pricey). 一點 sits after it and asks the quality up a notch (便宜一點, a bit cheaper).
比 comparison 比 sets one thing against a named other (A 比 B 高). Vs 一點 raises the quality against where it stands now, with nothing else named.
