Runs two actions on parallel tracks at the same time: one 一邊 opens each track, both verbs in progress together.

3Lay the second track level: 一邊 + verb 2.Both 一邊 take a verb; neither side carries a result or completion.

一…就…一邊…一邊… runs both actions at once on level tracks; 一…就… is sequence — the second follows the moment the first lands.
跟一邊…一邊… joins two actions of one subject; 跟 joins two parties to one action.
✗ 他一邊吃飯就看手機。 → ✓ 他一邊吃飯一邊看手機。 (both sides take 一邊; 就 would switch it to sequence.)
✗ 他吃飯一邊看手機。 → ✓ 他一邊吃飯一邊看手機。 (open the first track with 一邊 too, not only the second.)
✗ 他一邊吃完飯一邊看手機。 → ✓ 他一邊吃飯一邊看手機。 (neither verb carries completion; the actions are in progress together.)
English 'while' attaches to one clause; learners drop the first 一邊 and mark only the second action. Both tracks need 一邊.
